   Legendary musician Eddie Gómez (bass) headed an all-star jazz trio in a concert performance of his latest Twinz Records release, Jazz Fiddler on the Roof.  

   The new CD transforms the score of the popular Broadway show into a compelling and unexpected musical journey.

   "It's the very best jazz treatment of
the score I've ever heard," said Fiddler on the Roof composer Jerry Bock, who attended the concert debut.

   The new CD, on which Gómez teams-up with pianist Mark Kramer, is a FIDDLER unlike any ever heard before.

   Gómez and Kramer said they were attracted to Bock's score because the music was so beautiful.  In addition, like other great musicals of the past, FIDDLER easily translated into the jazz idiom.  

   The CD has 15 tracks, each one distinct and filled with sparkling musicianship.
